To become a member of PsoriasisPatients.com (PP) you need to create you PP account. The registration is free and takes only 1-2 minutes to complete. To start your registration please go here and just follow the instructions. The links below provide answers to most commonly asked questions about the sign-up.
For privacy reasons we don't require your real name so choose anything you like. You can use your first name as username if you want. If the username you like is taken, you'll be asked to choose another one. Just make sure you don't have any spaces or special characters in your username. Some samples: JohnSmith, Andrea, SashaM, SnowMan
To make it easier for people to connect we have three different account types:
Psoriasis Patient - if you have been diagnosed with any type of psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis that's the account type you should choose.
Patient Advocate - if you are advocating on behalf of people suffering from psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis choose this account type.
Family Member or Friend - if a member of your family or a friend suffers from psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis that would by your account type.
Medical Professional - if you are a dermatologist, a dermatolical nurse, a general practitioner, a clinical trial facilitator or other health care professional.
No. Only your login information and the account type are required, everything else is optional. You can always edit your profile information later on your Profile page.
If you can't login, check to make sure that your "caps lock" key is off. Your username and password are CaSe SeNsItIvE. If you still cannot login, you can request to reset your password or contact us.
Are you sure you want to delete your account? All of your account data, including any files you have uploaded, will be permanently deleted! Upon deletion of your account, you will be automatically logged out.
To update your profile, you must visit the Edit Profile page. You can move through the different parts of your profile by clicking the tabs at the top of the page.
If someone is bothering or harassing you, blocking them is usually the best solution. Visit the Account Settings page to learn how to block people. If someone continues to harass you despite your efforts, you can report them here.
You can report spam, pornography, or any other inappropriate content here, or by clicking the "Report" link on the page containing the content you wish to report.
